Since its beginning, Foulkeways has given attention to the evolving preferences of each incoming generation. Foulkeways continued diligence and attention to detail is evident throughout the campus; in both private residences and community areas.
Both our market research and our Priority List members agreed that incoming residents preferred larger apartments. Further investigation revealed that 70% of our Priority List members were waiting for 30% of our apartments. This, of course increased the waiting time for many. And although Foulkeways continues to value its smaller apartments because they offer those with less income the means to live in the community, we concluded that a rebalancing was in order. Foulkeways began to plan for the combining of some of its smaller adjacent apartments; studio with studio, and one-bedroom with studios to create a total of twelve, single, larger apartments. As appropriate apartments become available, this on-going project will continue to provide larger residences to fulfill the expectations of incoming residents. |

“We moved to Foulkeways out of choice, not out of necessity; it’s a gift to our children.”
