At Foulkeways, care is given to create an ‘information’ environment that is free of “industry- specific” jargon that might mislead or confuse potential residents. Extra attention is given to be sure that our marketing image projects the Foulkeways “Spirit” in an authentic manner in all print media ads and literature.  Whenever possible our advertisements contain actual photos of Foulkeways residents and our Foulkeways campus, rather than paid models and actors.  Our website regularly features residents who have been featured in the media, as well as feature stories highlighting the accomplishments and achievements of our residents and staff.    

Staying in touch with industry trends is extremely important to our communication goals, and is achieved by regular attendance at both the  American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (AAHSA) conventions and PANPHA, the Pennsylvania State organization for Not-For-Profit retirement communities.  In addition, memberships in the Marketing & Public Relations Society of Pennsylvania, along with membership in the Friends Services for the Aging Marketing Group, provide valuable feedback on issues important to communities such as ours. 

Guided by Friends Services for the Aging standards, Foulkeways continues to pride itself in its communication efforts with residents, staff, Board Members, potential community members and current residents.
