Foulkeways Abington House is ‘home’ to residents who find themselves in need of some assistance with the tasks of everyday living such as medication management, meal preparation, mobility and other common signs of aging. Each of our private, one-bedroom apartments include a patio or balcony and is large enough to accommodate couples who may wish to remain together, rather than separate, when one partner becomes more frail or in need of daily assistance. Licensed nursing care is provided twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.
Abington House is also home to our Foulkeways library, beauty salon, gift store, pharmacy and Abington House dining room, which is open to all residents living on our campus. In addition, five short-stay suites are designated to help residents successfully transition back to their independent living residences, following surgery or illness.
