LGBTQ+ Pride Month 2026

June is Pride Month, a time to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community and recognize the importance of dignity, equality, and inclusion.

Pride affirms self-expression, respect, and the right for all people to live authentically. As a Quaker retirement community, we look to our mission and values, which emphasize independence, quality of life, respect, inclusion, and choice for every individual.

In the United States, Pride Month commemorates the June 1969 Stonewall uprising, a pivotal moment in the history of LGBTQ+ rights. Throughout June, communities come together to honor progress made, celebrate diversity, and continue fostering understanding, visibility, and belonging.
