Mothers Day is Sunday, May 10th. A day to celebrate all of the wonderful mothers in your life. Whether it’s your mom, aunt, grandmother, sister, best friend, or some other extraordinary female, do something special to honor and thank her for this year.
This year our celebrations may be different as we continue to be closed to visitors while we continue to self-isolate, here are a few ideas to express your love: send a package in the mail, send a card with photos, schedule a Skype or Zoom call with the family or a simple phone call saying we’re thinking of you and love you. In honor of this special day our culinary team has put together a wonderful lunch and dinner selection for our residents:
Lunch: Seafood Salad
Dinner: Cream of Watercress soup
Spinach with Candied Pecans and Berries
Lamb Chops, Baked Potato, Honey Glazed Carrots
Sweet Ending: Dessert Quartet
