October 20th –Nov 4th–Our annual scarecrow festival is back. Everyone is invited to attend as well as create your own scarecrow. We are looking to have over 50 scarecrow showcased on our meadow.

Fun for all ages! Over 30 craftspeople: jewelry, baby clothes, doll clothes, photographs, knit goods, pottery, candles, quilts. Plus: knife sharpening; children’s art studio with face painting and balloon animals; baked goods, sandwiches, coffee and tea; plant sale; book sale; scarecrow outdoor display. No cost to attend!

Foulkeways thru our eyes …This will be an opportunity for all employees and residents to showcase in some form of visual art the Foulkeways community. Everyone is welcome to tour this exhibit Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. The artwork painted above is from our talented Foulkeways resident, Chris Clayton, better known in the art world as Christine Drake Donahower. Chris considers her work a “gift.” Painting landscapes en plein air is her favorite. As a graduate of Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts later in life, she has found much joy and satisfaction in this career.

Our anniversary celebration dinner as well as festive fireworks display will conclude our 50th anniversary events. Everyone is welcome to view the fireworks on campus at 8pm.
